The project supports local regeneration, creates jobs, and contributes to the UK’s net zero ambitions.

How long has the site been operational?

Green hydrogen has been produced commercially at Low and High Marnham since 2022. production has already begun, with full commercial operations due to start in November 2025. HyMarnham Power will be the first HAR1 project to go live, making it a flagship development in the UK’s hydrogen economy.

Who will use the hydrogen produced at HyMarnham Power?

Hydrogen from the site will serve a wide range of industries. It is already being used to replace diesel in construction, events, film and TV production, and backup generation.
